WHAT IS REIKI AND WHY DO YOU WANT IT?
A Reiki treatment is a gentle and holistic form of energy healing – an energetic and particularly high-vibrating frequency (spiritual energy). It promotes and harmonizes the flow of life energy and thus brings healing, relaxation and regeneration for you, your issues and your entire life situation. With that more harmonic state Reiki often also brings new insights, opportunities and solutions for you and the situation you are in.
The Reiki energy itself is an intelligent and high-vibrational spiritual energy that dissolves whatever interrupts the flow of Ki (life force energy) in and around you. It might be certain thoughts or feelings, experiences that have not been processed and integrated, or certain energies and circumstances around us. It brings us ever closer to ourselves and to the knowledge that we are already whole and enough.
All you have to do is relax and be open to the energy. Reiki only goes as deep as you are ready for. Even better: Reiki always goes where it’s needed most. And it can do no harm.
WHAT IS ACCESS BARS AND WHY SHOULD YOU GET YOUR BARS RUN?
A Bars session creates more space, calm and openness in your mind. After the treatment, everything might feel a little lighter and very, very grounded. Perfect for winding down when you’re stressed and the monkey mind is going strong.
In the session I „touch“ 32 points on your head (for real or energetically, doesn’t matter) that correspond to different areas of your life, e.g. money, control, creativity, consciousness, healing, communication and body. This helps release the thoughts, ideas, expectations, should-be sentences and emotions that you have learned or picked up around these.
*Footnote: Access Consciousness is a weird company and I don’t agree with much of their philosophie or ethics, BUT I LOVE the Bars method. 🤘
A Bars treatment can be a great way to help you let go of the thoughts, ideals, routines and emotions that stand between you and a life that actually suits you and does you justice. THIS IS MY STORY
Centering my relationship with myself and letting go of shitloads of shoulds has brought me from a university career in the Social and Educational Sciences to now supporting beautiful, heart-centered and freedom-loving humans as a heart-centered Life Coach, a Reiki practitioner and Tarot Reader for the past 2.5 years already! (Jump to my credentials: click!)
And I love it so much. Not only can I bring in all the things I have learned and continue to learn from sociology, educational sciences, psychology and on how to be a fabulous life coach (thanks Beautiful You Coaching Academy!) and healing support, but ALSO lean on my intuitive sense and emotional sensitivity to help others live a better life.
But back to what you are probably more curious about: How do I know that the kind of life you might be wishing for probably needs to begin with a new relationship with yourself?
Well … Because I have tried differently for a looong time and it has gotten me nowhere I would recommend. 😅
Believe me when I say: I am an absolute EXPERT at wanting to do everything right and extremely well. And yet never feeling good and/or enough. In not allowing me to feel, think, do, be so many things I truly wanted or needed.
I KNOW how hard it is to be there for yourself. To truly be there, I mean. Beyond the occasional bubble bath or weekend trip. And I know how easy it is to fall back into the same patterns when we want to finally take good care of ourselves. (Feel me?)
I believe what the world truly needs is more humans who are deeply connected with themselves.
Beautifully imperfect Humans who can engage with themselves and the world from a place of wholeness, love and inner truth.
Because they live courageously with an open heart.
When I moved to Sinai in 2018 and started doing healing and inner work, there was so much inside of me and about me that I thought wasn’t good enough. I wanted to „fix“ myself, get rid of the parts I thought I shouldn’t have or that were challenging, that didn’t fit the mold I was aspiring to. And yes, I tried finding the answers I needed outside myself. No shame in that, we all do.
I don’t have to tell you, that did not make me feel any kind of better, or do I?
Plot twist: It was never me that was the problem. I never needed the kind fixing I had on my mind. (And neither are or do you.)
Like so many of us, I had not learned how to BE WITH myself, to tend to and advocate for my needs. To enter into a honest, loving and caring partnership with myself. I had not learned to embrace my full humanity with its limitations and its miracles. Nor to deeply connect with me. And to be honest, I am still unlearning and re-learning.
If you haven’t yet achieved inner peace, self-love, a perfect work-life balance: There’s nothing wrong with you. At all.
You are however dealing with a powerful set of counter forces: capitalism, patriarchy, white supremacy, deep emotional injuries, traumas and protective strategies, the many narratives you collected your entire life, a lifetime’s worth of experiences stored in your body.
What I did when I realized that? I began treating myself like I deserved. Like I was ALREADY enough. Like I mattered and like everything in me makes sense. Because that IS the truth.
We just have to get used to the idea, really. It might take some time. But it’s absolutely worth it, I promise. And, you know? I would absolutely love supporting you in getting to that place too.
